Your next step to becoming a coach is to learn how to utilize advanced concepts of change management and sociological concepts to address the underlying resistance common in many organizational cultures. Learn how to refine and iterate your Evolutionary Change Canvas to include aspects of your organizational culture including resistance by individuals and groups. This course has been created by leading Kanban experts including David J Anderson and is intended to extend the coaching skills of those who have already taken the Kanban Management Professional (KMP) credential and want to obtain the Kanban Coaching Professional (KCP) credential.

The course follows the official KU Certified Kanban syllabus. At the end of the course, you will be able to apply the Kanban Coaching to drive managed evolutionary change in an organization. During the two days, you will have ample opportunities to discuss and experience the following topics:
- Explain the Kanban Maturity Model, its purpose, architecture, and application.Â
- Identify the Maturity Level of an organization in terms of culture, practices, and business outcomes, through the use of evidence.Â
- Explain and apply the Evolutionary Change Model as a guide to drive evolutionary change within the Kanban Maturity Model.Â
- Identify barriers to adopting higher levels of maturity up to Maturity Level 3Â
- Create an approach to resolve barriers up to Maturity Level 2.Â
- A refined Evolutionary Change Canvas or set of canvases that support your ongoing evolutionary change work within your organization.
- The ability to identify and prepare evolutionary change experiments to address the sociological factors that will likely affect your organization’s maturity over time.

Prerequisites
- There is no official prerequisite to attend this course. However, we highly recommend you complete Kanban Management Professional (KMP) before attending this course. This includes:
- Kanban System Design (KSD)
- Kanban Systems Improvement (KSI) or Kanban for Design and Innovation (KDI)
- Participants are encouraged to have completed the Kanban Maturity Model (KMM) course.
- All participants are provided trial access to the KMM+, giving access to all the content and latest updates to the Kanban Maturity Model book, KMM posters and video resources.

- You will receive a KMM and KC certificates of course completion from Kanban University (KU) as well as membership of KU. The Certificates are for lifetime and don’t need to be renewed.
- Participants who are also Kanban Management Professionals (KMP) are eligible to take the exam to earn the advanced KCP Credential. Kanban University (KU) directly facilitates the credential process. The participant sends an email to KU after completing both the KMM & KC courses, and receives a link to take the KCP exam. There is no fee to take the exam, and unlimited attempts are allowed; however, a 10-day waiting period applies between each attempt. Participants must successfully pass the exam with a score of 75% or higher. Upon successfully passing the exam, participants must pay an additional €468 (PPP adjusted, plus VAT where applicable) credential fee to KU to receive the advanced KCP Credential.
