Description
The Kanban Method is a knowledge work management method for teams and organizations that want a humane way of improving their products and services. The Kanban Method teaches organizations how to understand, visualize, and measure systems of work to continually improve and consistently deliver effective results.
The Team Kanban Practitioner course is the best first step for getting the work organized by teams and leaders like you. By understanding the core concepts of the Kanban Method and educating individual contributors to be “good Kanban citizens” you will improve visibility, communication, and collaboration within your team.
As a participant, you will learn what the Kanban Method is, the principles and practices of the Method, and how you can build your Kanban proficiency. You will learn the basics of visualizing different types of work and associated risk. You will learn how to design and implement a Team Kanban board. You will also learn how to proceed to the next level with Kanban.
The course is very interactive with a mixture of simulation, mediation of concepts as well as exercises for reflection and transfer into the own working context. You can start understanding the elements of your own kanban system after this course.
This 1-day course is certified by the Kanban University and has been put together by Kanban experts and leaders including David J. Anderson and Mike Burrows.
